We’ve re-opened and our new website is ready to take orders. We are focusing mainly on bondage rope and rope related accessories at www.MauiKink.com

We want to send a big Mahalo (Thank you) to our friends, customers, supporters and family who have not only stuck with us the past few months but also the past 6 years as we have built and grown our company. Most of you know that our beloved Bob aka Toymaker, unexpectedly passed away in January from cancer. For those that were unaware, it has been a difficult time for our family and aspects of MauiKink have been in limbo. We have decided to move from Maui (as we were planning in December) and will be spending a few months in Saint Louis before settling in Las Vegas this fall. We look forward to a new change of scenery and pace of life. It’s been a great ride.

As of May 13th, we will be closed indefinitely. For customers who have open orders, don’t worry, they will be fulfilled and shipped. We leave Maui on June 2nd so all orders will be shipped before then and our pre-made stock, sale items and surplus ropes are available to order up until May 27th. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and there is still a possibility that MauiKink.com will re-open in the near future under new management and offering new items. We may even offer some pre-made rope and items as we make them through our Etsy shop and Fetlife page.

For Customers – Limited Production Going Forward

At this time, we are scaling back on items we will be creating at www.MauiKink.com. Currently we will not be taking any orders for floggers, custom floggers, furniture or custom items, some paddles and canes. Basically, if you can’t check it out in the online shopping cart, we aren’t taking general orders for said item(s). We don’t have any ETA’s on when we will resume orders on these items but we do welcome our customers to contact us to see if we have the availability to create something as long as they understand the production time may increase. A cane that would usually ship within 1-2 weeks may take up to 4 weeks – if you are okay with that, then please let us know. As time goes on, we may list specialty items or pre-made items on our website or our Etsy site so you will still have the chance to purchase one of our unique products.

Please note – this does NOT affect bondage rope and most rope accessories/related items. If anything, our production time in this area will decrease and orders will be shipped faster.

March 2013 Update

Whew! It’s been a busy few months and the next few look even busier! We are moving this month and kindly ask our customers to contact us via email as we will not be holding regular business hours and may take a few days to return voice mails. Email is the quickest way to get your questions answered!

We will also be doing some traveling in 2013 and so expect a week or two where our shop will be closed. More details to come!
