Karma Pervs, the porn fundraiser created by the fantastic and sexy (oh, and don’t forget, Maui born) gender queer pornstar Jiz Lee, is benefitting the Sharon St. Cyr Fund, Inc (SSC Fund) this September with a kink/leather themed updated in time for Folsom Street Fair.

You can win prizes from Karma Pervs this September including a $75 gift certificate from yours truly, MauiKink.com, and a DVD copy of Speakeasy, autographed by Jiz!

The SSC Fund creates different programs to raise funds to provide hearing aids for hearing-impaired individuals and provide grants to organizations for ASL interpreting services for the deaf and hard of hearing community. The SSC Fund, Inc. also works to assist organizations that are in need of higher profiles and working capital to accomplish missions for sexual freedom, equality, and for organizations that serve sexual minority communities.

What is Karma Pervs? In a nutshell: It’s a porn fundraiser. I choose a charity each month – members see sexy photos for a good cause! I post a unique photo set of pictures related to the cause and at the end of the month 100% is donated to the organization. Sign up to support, see pictures, and also enter to win great prizes!

Momentum Conference: Making Waves in Sexuality, Feminism and Relationships through New Media is coming to Washington DC April 1st-3rd, 2011.

Momentum is quickly becoming THE con to attend in 2011. Speakers and presenters include Lillith Grey, Ricci Levy, Shanna Katz, Cunning Minx, Professor Oni and many more.

MOMENTUM provides a safe place to listen, discuss and learn about the ways the web has impacted our sexuality without the fear of reprisal or shaming. It is a space for acceptance and appreciation of diversity, including for those in the LGBTQ, sex-work, BDSM and non-monogamous communities.

During MOMENTUM we will discuss ways to bridge the baffling dichotomies our culture creates around sexuality. While on one hand we have unprecedented sexual freedom, on the other we continue to police sexuality with a frightening vigor. Abortion laws, restrictions on gay marriage, abstinence programs, medicalization of sex, fear of pornography and prosecutions for teenage sexting are examples of one side of the spectrum. The discomfort that strives to make us keep our sexuality hidden conflicts with the use of sex — especially the female body — to sell everything from food to cars to “performance enhancing” products.
